This Vehicle Listing Disclaimer explains that vehicle listing information is supplied by sellers, that Drivaroo Pty Ltd does not sell vehicles to buyers through Drivaroo, and that buyers must verify vehicle details before relying on any listing or completing a transaction.
1. Listings are seller supplied
Vehicle listings on Drivaroo are supplied by private sellers, dealers, fleets, or other users. Drivaroo is an independent listing platform and is not the seller of listed vehicles to buyers.
Listing details, price, photos, odometer, specifications, history, registration, location, availability, finance examples, warranty claims, and condition statements are the seller's responsibility unless clearly stated otherwise.
2. Buyers must verify information
Buyers must verify all important details before relying on a listing or completing a purchase. This may include independent inspections, PPSR checks, history reports, registration checks, identity checks, finance owing checks, roadworthiness checks, and professional advice.
Do not rely only on listing text, AI summaries, catalog suggestions, no-photo imagery, price estimates, finance estimates, or messages when deciding whether to buy or inspect a vehicle.
3. Photos and illustrative images
Seller-uploaded photos should depict the advertised vehicle, but Drivaroo does not guarantee that photos are current, complete, unedited, or sufficient to show all defects.
If no vehicle photos are uploaded, Drivaroo may display Drivaroo-owned no-photo imagery or category artwork. These are illustrative assets only and are not photos of the actual vehicle.
4. Availability, price, and transactions
Vehicles may be sold, withdrawn, repriced, reserved, delayed, incorrectly described, or unavailable. Buyers should confirm availability, final price, included costs, payment method, handover process, and transfer requirements directly with the seller.
Any contract for sale is between buyer and seller, not Drivaroo. Drivaroo does not hold deposits in trust, transfer vehicle title, guarantee delivery, or guarantee seller performance unless a separate written service expressly says otherwise.
5. Safety and fraud awareness
Meet safely, verify identity and ownership, avoid suspicious payment requests, and be cautious with deposits or off-platform communications. Report suspicious listings or messages to Drivaroo.
If something appears too good to be true or the seller avoids verification, consider pausing the transaction and seeking independent advice.
